Hi all, The threads here and a recent Slashdot discussion got me to wonder: these companies defacing *our* websites claim that it's entirely ethical, legal, good, righteous and their God-given right to make un-authorised modifications to our Web sites. How would they react if they thought someone had written a program that inserts _racial slurs_ on *their* Web page? I have started an experiment to hopefully find out... -WARNING WARNING WARNING- The about-to-be-said URL contains some very offensive racial slurs for example purposes. If you are easily offended by such things, do not go to that URL! -WARNING WARNING WARNING- http://labs.cexx.org/dundee.htm is the mock-up technical information page for the fictional Dundee.exe program, named after the legendary "GATOR" hunter :-) This program operates just as theirs does, inserting unauthorised content (vile ethnic/racial slurs and epithets) into their Web pages. The idea is to give Ezula, GATOR, etc. wind of this program, start the Lawsuit Clock, and wait for the threatening letters from their legal counsel to start rolling in. Results, if any, will be posted on-line.
